Associated Press and other news agencies are reporting that some 44 people were hurt when American Airlines flight 331 from Washington DC and connecting through Miami overshot the runway while landing in heavy rain.  Here the American Airlines statement about the accident — according to AA the Boieng 737-800 aircraft had 148 passengers and crew of six.
